Overview
Involved from inception, Dan helped the hard-working & caring Hills Angels team "look like a real café" (their words :)From brainstorming names & identities to the interior & exterior look, Dan did a little branding, a spot of decorating, sign writing, coffee drinking and cake eating too.
The organic way the look developed while in production was environmentally & ethically satisfying; eg. an A-board was created from parts of the defunct kitchen. We also found the original wood shuttering beneath the 1970's perspex sign which was then able to be preserved. Also an off-cut from the new kitchen worktop was re-purposed as ingenious signage.
All very much in the positive, enterprising spirit of things.
Hills Cafe opened March 2016 and is a social enterprise that welcomes the local community and invests in local people. It is not for profit and supported by One Can Trust, M&M Big Local, Red Kite Community Housing and Heart of Bucks.
And Decreate too.
