Artist-in-Residencies

Dan has been ‘artist in residence’ with Chiltern Rangers since 2016 and Wycombe Arts Centre since 2018.

For Chiltern Rangers, Dan is the lead creative, working on numerous projects where his skill set are required. This can involve arty workshops with young people, designing flyers and posters, and outdoor garden space design and realisation. He also loves getting his hands dirty with practical conservation work!

For Wycombe Arts Centre, Dan co-ordinated the transformation from Arts4Every1, which had let the centre slide into a sorry state. In the first year, the team began implementing the new creative direction. First off was after designing the logo and re-branding, painting and decorating, new signage, new look flyers and posters, website graphics and content, and starting a new visual arts programme. Encouraging other artists to contribute has also been key.

In the second year, Dan has curated exhibitions, installed artworks around the site, tackled the garden and started encouraging exciting new arty community projects. And there is so much more coming!
